Like Channyn I will also review Flying J. It's our 'stop' on the way from Lafayette to points south.

Fairly clean bathrooms, good snack selection, the gas is competitively priced.  Lots of energy drinks or water, and a healthy selection of my fave road snack - beef jerky!

Very friendly staff.  Generally a good place to stop for gas, bathrooms and nosh.

I've been here before. Came here to take a break and get some munchies. The employees are nice, it's got a restaurant too with it that I didn't have time to stop by at. It's like any other Flying J's I've been too. Bathrooms are horrendous! Prices are outrageous! Tons of truckers!

Easy, peasy lemon squeezy. This gas station is a quick in and out. The bathrooms are clean and the gasoline is on the cheap. The staff is super friendly and will assist your every need.
    Lots of snack options.

This company likes to over work their employees. The management team is horrible and only utilizes the same 4 employees for their overnights when they have 20+ employees and does not respect the fact that alot of these workers have lives and family outside of their work schedules. The food they continue to sell after 10pm has continued to be sold long after the expiration time and the burger buns are rock hard and the rest of the food including the pizza have has been sitting under heat lamps. No taste and dried out as hell. There is no overnight maintenance on the weekend so they expect the cashiers to clean the showers as well as stock/clean the store and have all the food items; they only schedule two cashiers and refuse to have a manager on overnights leaving the cashiers vulnerable to disgruntled and sometimes verbally abusive/violent customers and robberies that no one is really trained to handle properly. Its a sad excuse for pilot/ flying j stores compared to other ones ive visited in my travels. Convenient store but horrible management

Yes. I am reviewing a truck stop. Get over it. For the long, arduous drive from Chicago to s/e Ky, this particular Flying J has been a godsend.

Frst and foremost, gas is always a whole heck of a lot cheaper than it is in Chicago. Second, the employees are friendly - always - at any hour on any given day. Third, it's a truck stop which inevitably means cheap tacky souvenirs ala a tank top that states "Whiskey makes me frisky". Um, I did not buy one, though I may have been tempted for a little more than a second. Fourth, and I can not over state the importance of this while traveling, CLEAN BATHROOMS. As a bonus, the doors are filled with intriguing reading material, and you might even find the phone number for a future romantic interest. Fifth and final, the pizza is good. Not like "OMG, I am craving this pizza and I will die without having it good", but good. And better than going to Wendy's down the road.
